I’ve been DJing weddings for over 17 years and each wedding still feels like a new experience. From the music requests to the diverse crowd to the various atmosphere and vibes, to the location and much else, no two weddings I’ve DJed feel the same.
Then I got a call from a newly engaged couple, Sasan and Sheela, regarding a Persian destination wedding in Italy that needed a DJ. To say this destination wedding was unique is an understatement.
The dinner reception of this Iranian wedding in Italy was an elegant vibe with none of the traditional wedding segments (speeches, first dance, etc.).
The dance party is where the night came to life. Guests were ushered to a real gigantic cave after dinner, where the bar and the DJ were ready to rock the night.
The experience of DJing in a cave off the Italian shore was breathtaking, and the crowd was energetic throughout the party. It was everything a Persian wedding DJ can ask for when entertaining a Persian wedding in Italy.
The great thing about having your Iranian destination wedding on a private resort or villa is that there is no end time! Well, almost. Most of the Persian destination weddings I’ve DJed finished when people got tired and not because the venue had a shutdown time.
In the photo below, people are dancing and partying at this Persian wedding in Italy strong until 2:30 am! The music ranged from Persian, American, Latin and everything else that kept the dancefloor boomin’! It was great vibes all around.

Yes, it was me. This beautiful, tasty, multilayered and flavoured Tiramisu Italian wedding cake was cut and served right after the traditional Iranian knife dance.

There are definitely some perks to being a Persian DJ who travels internationally to perform music and entertainment at some of the most beautiful destination weddings around the world.

Hiring a Persian DJ for a destination wedding can be tricky. Unless you have some experience with a particular wedding DJ, I always recommend doing your due diligence in the hiring process. This includes reading verified wedding reviews, listening to DJ mixes of the DJ in mind, asking friends and family for recommendations, and checking their website, wedding videos, and other content that can give you more information about their services.
