June 2019 was full of international weddings. From the beautiful Iranian wedding in Lake Como, Italy, to this elegant wedding in Calgary, Canada, I DJed a week after, one thing they all had in common was joy, love, and tons of dancing!

Negin and Sam knew dancing and entertainment was a big part of their big Persian wedding. Sam contacted me many months in advance and didn’t hesitate to lock in the Persian wedding DJ he knew would rock his wedding reception party.

Sam was also a DJ growing up, so he knew exactly the right questions to ask. In fact, we went over music, using Technics vinyl turntables, and all the remixes and song tricks we loved to pull off.

Negin and Sam were such a down to earth couple that truely valued their family and guests. It was evident from the speeches, and dancing that love and happiness was in the air.

The wedding party literally went until 2am strong. They had intermittent dancing before and during dinner to warm the night up, then non-stop dancing from 10pm until the venue shut us off at 2am. What else can a wedding DJ ask for?

What the couple had to say

Negin & Sam’s first dance

The couple’s first dance was to Ed Sheeran’s song “Perfect,” which reflected the couple’s love for one another impeccably.

The wedding planner, Blush&CoEvents, flawlessly ran both the wedding ceremony and reception smoothly. Although I acted as the wedding DJ and MC presenting the grand introductions, announcements and hyping the dance floor, the Blush&coEvents team coordinated the timeline and kept me in the loop with the sequence of events.
