If there’s one thing I love more than weddings, it’s Persian weddings in Montreal. The city is known for its French culture, delicious bagels, and colourful neighbourhoods are known to throw a party, and I was fortunate to be a Persian wedding DJ at the most happening party at the Ritz-Carlton, Montreal last weekend for Roya and Nader’s big day.

I am not kidding when I say that there was no dull moment! I was accompanied by the entertaining folks: MC Sean and a live wedding percussionist who got the party going on the dancefloor and kept the flow of the night moving naturally. Having a drummer at a wedding is one of my favourite additions because it lets guests stay engaged while having a blast. Friends and family of Roya and Nader did not sit down for a single moment, and some even missed dinner because of how excited they were to dance. It was great spinning Persian tunes, Latin music and big hit songs, then ending the night with Dancehall and Hip Hop music.

What they client had to say

montreal Persian DJ weddingWe were in for a 5-hour non-stop party, where guests only sat down during the speeches, and to watch the much loved Persian knife dance. Yes, even throughout dinner the dance floor was packed! Roya and Nader danced for the first time as man and wife to Better by Khalid, and from there, the party went on until after 2 a.m. The energy in the room was so high you’d think there were 300 people attending when, in reality, it was an intimate and close group of 155.

I enjoyed my time and was glad to be asked to their Persian wedding DJ in beautiful Montreal. This couple knows how to have fun; I know their new lives together will be nothing short of a great time!
