This Arabic and Filipino mixed wedding was as stylish as the couple getting married. The minute you walked it was clear that the reception had professional planning and eloquent design. White dancefloor taping, lavender uplights, and decor that had you talking for days to come all added to the Wow factor as you stepped inside.

It was an honor to DJ Fady and Lorrie’s wedding and the party was off the chain! Guests partied hard until 2am, until the venue literally made us stop.

Entertainment

Fady and Lorrie didn’t compromise on their entertainment. Fady, being a DJ in the past, knew how critical good entertainment was for a successful wedding. We went over his music selections, but ultimately he put his trust in my work.

The reception started with their grand entrance. Intelligent robotic lighting filled the room with Hollywood rotating spotlights that produced a broadway opening atmosphere. The couple entered with a traditional Arabic song with a live wedding percussionist playing in front of them. The place was electric!

Throughout the night my exclusive wedding MC kept guests informed, engaged and entertained and gave an uplifting vibe when the party started.

To add some extra energy to the dancefloor, the couple also hired one of my percussionists for a wedding.

What the couple had to say

How to have the best wedding ever

If there’s something you can take from this post it’s what it takes to have a wedding of a lifetime. Planning, Priority and Presser Control are my Powerful P’s.

Planning – Give yourself plenty of time when planning the perfect night. It still amuses me getting calls to hire a wedding DJ literally weeks before the reception.

Priority – If you have a particular DJ for a wedding in mind, book them ASAP! Don’t leave it as the last check off item. DJs usually book on a first come first served basis, so locking up your favourite talent in advance is a good idea.

Pressure Control – If you’re planning your own wedding, the workload may be overwhelming. Pressure and stress will inevitably be on the horizon. I always suggest hiring a wedding planner. Although it might add to your budget, the inside information they have, connections and discounts they can provide may actually save you money in the long run.

The biggest factor to limit pressure and stress is to hire experienced vendors. Hire wedding DJs, photographers and other vendors who have experience, credibility and testimonials.

When you hire a pro, you’ll know you’re in good hands. There’s nothing like peace of mind leading up to your wedding date.
